hawaii trip

Yesterday we booked a flight and in about 3 weeks we are off to Hawaii! Counting several days out of town beforehand, in total we'll be gone for over half the month of March.
Q is going for work related reasons, and I'm going for weather related reasons.

(photos from the 70s when my mom lived in Hawaii - that's her above!)

Sadly, it's the farthest away I'll have traveled before, unlike my husband who has been everywhere from the Middle East to Honduras. Where's the farthest away you've been?

Oh, how exciting!
I just got back a few weeks ago myself.
What island are you going to?
I am from Australia and have been to Dublin, Ireland. 25 hours on a plane or so lol

Hawaii is the furthest I've been, too. And let me just say it's a magical place. I didn't think it was possible to feel the extreme relaxation I felt there -- hang loose and post lots of pics from your trip!

Oh my goodness I'm sooooo jealous, weather related reasons indeed (we got inches of snow yesterday)!!! The farthest place I've been is Europe, I lived in England for 6 months during my sophomore year of college.

Yay, I love Hawaii! The 'going for weather related reasons' thing is hilarious. (Hawaii is the farthest I've been from home, too.)

Oh how fun. I envy you and my husband does too. I have been to Hawaii but he has never been. You are really going to like it. The farthest away I have been is Israel and I am leaving at the very end of this month to go there again, but for a completely different reason then the first time. The first time was to go on a tour and to just see it, this time it is for my heart and for the Lord and for the children. Thank you so much for reading and leaving a comment on my guest post yesterday. I left you a reply on Christy's blog.

So jealous! I wish I was going to Hawaii. I have been to Maui and I really enjoyed it. If you are going to Maui make sure you do the road to Hana- the hiking (waterfalls) is amazing. I studied abroad in college with the Semester at Sea program and was able to explore several countries in Europe and Africa. Def was an eye opening experience.

Have a blast and travel safe!!
