My mom used to live on Oahu, Hawaii during the late sixties/early seventies when she was in her 20s. I always like to look at the pictures and think about how fun it would be to grow my hair long like she did and make year-round trips to the beach...
(Ps. Don't you love the styles on the beach then? That's my mom with her surfboard...)

Love it! My parents were stationed in HI when I was in Junior High ~ but HI in the 60's would have been amazing! (Or to go back now, with the view of today, would be amazing!)
You are right, it'd be so fun to go back during the 60s. I'd love to see the styles worn, and they had super short dresses in other pics I have - my mom never told me that when I was in high school!
These are rockin' pics. And they make me miss Hawaii. I would LOVE to live there.
