Aimee and Drew, a very sweet couple, gave us a jar of their homemade apple butter yesterday and it is oh so good. We ate it on bread, but I'd consider spooning it right from the jar.
(We immediately added this to the list of "things we hope to can" at the end of this summer. If you're into canning, any other suggestions?)

My Dad is obsessed with apple butter! Most of my friends had never hear of it and it really shocked me, ha. I guess not everyone is as into apple butter as I thought! This looks absolutely delicious...

I'm obsessed with all types of fruity spreads lately. All I want to consume is toast with jam/chutney/apple butter/etc.
