(images: somethings hiding in here)I love this
tree stand idea for fake Christmas trees. Last year was our first Christmas in our house, so I was determined to have a real tree. But we learned that
real trees aren't a good idea when you have cats who like to climb them (they were obsessed with the pine scent).
This stand would be perfect to help make a fake tree still feel cozy and woodsy!

this is a fantastic idea ... that room looks so warm and inviting!!!
super cute.
I love this idea! I am fearful f getting a real tree because I am afraid of fires. Irrational? Yes, I know!
love the tree stand!
What a super idea!!!!
I am going to do this for my fake:( tree!!!
I wonder if it will smell woodsy.....
:)
Thanks for the idea!
Great look! We have always had a fake tree, so this would be perfect!
My Mum had exactly the same problem with her new cat and tree last year! I love this idea though as like you say it makes it look more real almost.
xx
Oh, what a great idea!
We always use a galvanized bin for our tree (real) and then fill it to the brim with pine cones. Pretty sure I stole the idea from Martha S.
love this idea!
Yeah, I love this- completely:)
I usually get a real tree and lament the stand every year. This year I'm looking after Chef's cat and I think she might be a climber...so maybe I can test out this stand. It is wonderful!!

I love this idea - if I can't get a real tree a real stump will have to do. SO cute!
I love this! So different and fun.
Oh my...shut shut shut it! I am sooo doing this! Thank you so much for sharing this. xo
This is so obvious and simple. Of course this should be the tree stand! Why have I never seen this before?? Thanks!
I love this idea of putting the fake tree in a tree stump. Genius!
SO GOOD! I am going to try this, we always have a fake tree, but our cats are always attacking it! This might just elevate it off the ground a little bit more, and it also makes it look more real!
what a great idea! :)
