christmas cards

(image: domino mag)

This past weekend I was talking with my sisters in-law about who's doing Christmas cards this year. If I get it together I usually hand make them, but I'm also liking the pretty options from tiny prints & minted lately too. What about you, are you doing any this year? I have this image torn out from domino magazine as my inspiration and it's hard to stop staring.

Love that inspiration photo. I always try to do a fun display with the cards I receive but I dont think Im popular enough to make that kind :)

Im working on my mailing (i always send out a little gift rather than a card) Can't wait to send them out. I always put a ton of work into them but they are my signature thing.

I made my last year as in designed and had them printed. I'm thinking the same thing this year although I love minted and tiny prints. We will see.

We use Send Out Cards. You add your own pictures, you upload your own handwriting and signature. You can custom design each card and send from your computer, but they arrive at your recipient's house as if you mailed it yourself. And, they're under $1 each, fully customized. We love it so much, we send Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's and birthday cards all the time!

They'll give you some free cards to send out before you sign up for anything.

Hope this helps!

I always do some sort of picture. Last year I had an artist on Etsy doa cartoon drawing of me, my husband, and our dogs. This year I just don't know....probably a black and white pic, I haven't done that yet. Love your inspiration!

After the wedding I am so worn out on DIY projects. I love so many of the minted ones.

I always send a million Christmas cards! I love finding stacks in my mailbox too.

I bought all mine in London this summer, and can't wait to start writing them...

Me, the ultimate paper girl sent my first electronic holiday card last year and I have to say, I loved it! I saved paper and stamps and had a ball creating it...with photos from y brother's photo booth. You can see the finished product here: http://www.ewers.biz/a-year-of-firsts/ I missed seeing our card on the wall displays of our friends, but that was the only downside! Not sure what this year will be, but thanks for this inspiration.

And you are always so sweet!! xo
The photo above is soooo beautiful! It can easily be displayed as art at home rather than just moodboard :)

And thanks for reminding me - I wanted to send out Christmas cards last year but I had no time, so this year would be great!

I usually make my own cards each year but I have stumbled this year and am still not sure what I want to do.

This picture has captured my eye on Tumblr time and time again this week.
