weekend inspiration

We haven't had a weekend home since June, so I have lofty plans that involve a sparkly clean house & time spent trying some new recipes. Tonight we're also going to a concert in the park, and then exploring the historic Eastern Market in Detroit tomorrow - it's 6 blocks long so I plan to bring a big tote bag & wear comfortable shoes. Hope you have a fun weekend ahead.

Isn't it bittersweet how the summer seems to fly by sometimes! Hope you have a great weekend!

Fun! I have all of the ingredients in my pantry/fridge to replicate that Jamie Oliver recipe, so I might try it out too! :) Hope you find cute stuff @ the market.

I love everything about this post. That kitchen is so sunny and cheerful. The beach tote looks perfect for holding magazine, sunglasses, a cold drink. The ice cream sandwiches- yum! And anything made my Jamie Oliver is bound to be delicious!

It seems like I have a million totes already, but I'd definitely buy that cute yellow one. I'm right there with you on the ice cream sandwiches too. Perfect for a humid day like today.
