A living room with a couch full of cozy pillows is one of my favorite things, and ours are in real need of an update! Several have covers that aren't holding up well, so I'm slowly trying to replace them with ones I really love. I've had all of the above bookmarked as inspiration and kind of like the mix of patterns seeing them together here. I'd prefer removable (you know, washable!) covers, but these give me some good ideas. We'll see. ;)
I'm such a fan of all the designs by Bonnie and Neil where a few of these can be found -- check out the rest of their collection here.
As any good blogger knows, Anthro is a treasure trove of pretty books, right? I always find myself in their store whenever we're in downtown Birmingham, and this past weekend I was reminded of their stash of Penguin Classics with cute & quirky cover designs by Mr. Boddington. I could hardly resist my favorite above...see all of them here.
After flipping through their catalog for the first time, it's hard not to admire Garnet Hill's collection of storage bins and baskets...those cute canvas whale bins are killing me!
One more roundup from the Holiday issue I wanted to share - gift wrapping. As fun as it was to make these, I'm reminded of how these things are all just a small part of this wonderful season. Amid all of the gift guides and ideas out there, so thankful to see blog posts about true giving like tidings of goodwill shared by Anna.
I've been on the hunt for a good, quality pair of flat brown boots for some time, and haven't found many without too much detailing or heel. Maybe I'm looking in all the wrong places? Most of the above are an investment, but they're the best I've found or tried by far!
I finally went with the madewell boot during a generous sale (I like their shape and fitted top, and plan to have these for quite awhile), but jcrew's were a close second and are majorly on sale through this weekend...
It's always a treat to stumble across a good shop on Etsy while looking for something else, as was the case with Henrietta Fetch...it's newly opened and features a great little collection of vintage wares and patterned linens.
I first came across Aubin & Wills somewhere on Pinterest, and immediately signed up for a catalog (still hoping it arrives one day...). Their website is teeming with good inspiration.
I've long adored Iva's blog and photography, and now she has a small collection of photos available for sale in her shop, Ivay. As an architecture grad, she has such a great eye for detail and beauty. Shown above: sit with me, high above, and wall.
A few recent finds (and longtime favorites)... 1. Metallic pouches, by Anya Hindmarch 2. The fantastic looking book, Wildwood 3. Utilitarian caged lights, by A+R 4. Rubber stamps, by Mae Mae 5. Classic Tivoli radio 6. Beautiful mini ramekins, by Heath
A little peek at a spring shop update coming on Monday. There are a few new goods, including extra thick baker's twine, small party items, and cards. And I've also updated the site a bit, simplifying the look & photography to (hopefully) better reflect my style. I can't wait to share the results soon! Thanks as always for following along here.
The items may not all be handmade, but this vintage shop is still independently run (and beautifully curated!). I came across it recently and adore her collection of various planters, among other things.
