We're traveling to dinner on both sides of the family this Thanksgiving, and inevitably bring one of our favorite comfort foods, green bean casserole, as our side dish every year (I just might dress it up this time with

cozy slippers...they simply remind me of spending Thanksgiving full of comfort, gratitude, and as always, plenty of food.

Yum, beautiful inspiration here! I've been working on Thanksgiving prep most of the afternoon here in Sicily and still have so much to do in the morning...! We're hosting for the first time, which will be fun but of course there's plenty of self-inflicted pressure. :-)
