Easter weekend

(photos: 1 dreamy whites, 2 jamie magazine via frolic, 3 ikea live)

Are you hosting Easter this year? Every holiday I collect inspiration for hosting a dinner, even though we always travel to see family in our hometown. Here are some of my favorite ideas for this weekend: a flowery table setting from dreamy whites, using old documents as place settings (thrifty!); a buffet of eggs from jamie magazine, to represent the Resurrection and new life; and a casual, colorful table setting from ikea live. Have a blessed Easter!

I host every year and I have a few ideas I want to try this year -- there are only 5 of us so the table is small and I want to keep things to scale. These are some great ideas and inspirations!

Happy Easter!

I love all of these ideas. Especially the vintage posters used as placemats! This will be the first easter i won't be with my whole fam, but i'm planning on starting a little easter tradition w/ my fiance... a pretty easter brunch for the 2 of us followed by dyeing eggs, then making a great recipe for a version of deviled eggs i found in martha:)

I wish I was hosting Easter, but I'm fairly certain that sitting on unpacked boxes is not Easter chic. haha!!

Have a wonderful Easter and enjoy every second :)

oh my...I love it. So fresh and pretty. That first image is AMAZING! But the last center piece is awesome - kind of thorny to represent the cross without being in your face! Likey! Happy Easter to you dear! xo

Lovely inspirations! I will be spending Easter at my parents but I may bring along some flowers to their home to make a pretty flowery setting :) Happy Easter with your family!
