nostalgia...

On Sunday night we spotted Father of the Bride 2 on tv and had fun watching it together. I grew up in the 90s and love films like these. And I secretly still adore some of the 90s fashion styles like the wavy hair and loose fitting floral dress that Annie wears in the movie (below), although she makes it look much cooler than I ever did.

The funny scene of Annie & her mom as cute pregnant ladies (above), in comfy oxford shirts with legging shorts, has to be my favorite. Anyone else still nostalgic about the 90s (or another decade)?

this is one of my all time favorite movies.
It actually almost happened to my mom and sister! My mom had my little sister Grace (that was pictured on the blog) a month before my sister had her first baby! CRAZY! They are best buds now.

My memorable films are most definitely from the 90's but I have to shamefully admit that I have never seen either of these films - really must very soon!

You know what else I loved in those movies (besides Honk and Fronk of course!)? That beautiful, beautiful house. Sigh...

Oh my goodness, my favorite movies ever!! Haha, my family complains because I used to always ask to watch them again...and again and again. Annie inspired me to choose Pachelbel Canon in D to walk down the aisle to :) xoxo

Love the Father of the Bride movies, although I think the first is my fave. Always makes me cry.

Erin: I LOVE the house, too.
Colleen: that is so sweet!
Connie: I agree, the first is still my favorite.

Loved those movies. Spent too much time in the 90s quoting Martin Short.

Isn't there something so comforting about 90s movies? Even the music makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
